Hick was fresh off helping shut down the Senate Republicans’ latest attempt to ram through billions more in funding for Trump’s lawless ICE agency, and did so with the help of a pretty clever amendment to what we’re calling the Insurrection Slush Fund. We also discussed the cost of living emergency, the Iran war, the so-called SAVE Act (which maybe should be called the “SAVE Republicans from the Wrath of the Voters Act?), protecting public lands, and what Democrats will do if they get back the House and Senate in the midterms.
